Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Football Matchup Breakdown For Week 6
John Laghezza breaks down the Week 6 AFC showdown between the Browns and Ravens for fantasy football.
It’s already mid-October, and the much-improved Cleveland Browns could actually be sitting in first place in the AFC North with a victory Sunday over Baltimore. What a world, what a league.

Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Preview For Week 6
It’s been said a million times, yet still bears repeating. Backup quarterbacks are among the most important and undersung pieces on any franchise. Tasked more or less with just keeping the buses on schedule, Tyler Huntley stepped up much to my surprise. Granted, Declan Doyle did a really nice job anchoring the offense around an effective run scheme against an extremely tough ATL front seven. With that, Huntley settled in as the game progressed to put a solid stat line (13 of 14, 104-2-0; 1-5-1) from halftime on, with all the underpinning stats to justify it (0.44 EPA/dropback, 92.9% completion, 137.2 passer rating, 7.4 yards/attempt). No one’s quite Lamar, but this will play …
UPDATE: Adam Schefter just reported, “Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has a realistic chance to return for Sunday’s game at Cleveland, per league source”. Though still somewhat skeptical, my lean’s toward it being true since betting lines shifted a full two points since.
No surprises here when Baltimore rushed the ball 35 times successfully Sunday, even against a tough Falcons’ front seven (5.9 yards/attempt, 4.29 yards after contact/rush). What did jump out to me was just how sharp Justice Hill looked with the ball in his hand. And while strictly relegated to backup duties, Hill’s ~3% rostership rate still borders on criminality — he’s the only other Raven RB to tote the rock this season. Lastly, newsflash … Derrick Henry’s inevitable. The Big Dog’s up to RB5, posting just one game outside the week’s top-7.
However, if we do get Huntley under center, it’s not all roses for the Flock. Despite technically dropping back more times Sunday than in any game this year (38), Baltimore not only trailed throughout, but went into overtime — not to mention that 183 passing yards represents their lowest total of 2026. Zay Flowers still produced (8-58-0), just keep in mind his 4.7-yard aDOT with Huntley marked about half of his 9.5-yard aDOT entering Week 5. Rashod Bateman also posted his best game by far playing next to Flowers, though you can color me skeptical since most came in the fourth quarter, and now he’s on the injury report. Bateman’s still a better second option than Mark Andrews for my money; it's just a matter of the pie not being big enough for everyone to eat.
- Start: Derrick Henry (RB7), Zay Flowers (WR22)
- Sit: Tyler Huntley (QB18), Mark Andrews (TE24)
- Sleeper: Rashod Bateman (WR65)
Cleveland Browns Fantasy Preview For Week 6
Nothing says Browns football like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. After holding the Jets to 10 points through 56 minutes of play, punter Corey Bojorquez fumbled a snap deep in his own territory — and the rest, as they say, is history. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that Cleveland's playing significantly better football than expected by all the bigmouth pundits (slowly raises hand). Perhaps most surprising of all? Deshaun Watson’s crucial role in their success.
Not to exaggerate the situation, but even in his worst game against NYJ, Watson kept his team competitive. He marched down the field for 72 yards and a score-flipping TD drive late in the fourth quarter — capped off by a double-move go-route dime to Denzel Boston. The rookie WR out of Washington’s playing every down, accounting for the fifth-most deep targets (10), averaging +98 air yards/game, and should be even more involved this weekend.
Unfortunately, fellow first-year WR KC Concepcion suffered a nasty concussion, forcing him from Sunday’s game versus New York. Jerry Jeudy filled in out wide (7 targets; 3-19-0), opening up the slot role for Isaiah Bond. I’ll admit the second-year UDFA leading the team in receiving (7 targets; 3-74-0) over Harold Fannin (4 targets; 1-4-0) caught me off-guard. Bond’s a decent stab at flex in PPR formats while Concepcion’s inactive. Get well soon, KCC.
Quinshon Judkins failed to crack the top-25 again for the fourth time in five tries. Nevertheless, at an 81% backfield opportunity share on the season, including 13.6% of all team targets, he’s impossible to sit in the current RB environment. Worth noting, Judkins was spotted in a boot after the game, said to have tweaked his ankle. With question marks regarding status arising after missing practice, I’d give backup Dylan Sampson a home with Raheim Sanders sent to the IR — he was designated to return from IR, but also missed practice, so the short term’s still a mystery.
UPDATE: Not to stir any Judkins-related panic, but Cleveland just signed Audric Estime off the Vikings’ practice squad. Guess I’d still prefer him over Jaleel McLaughlin (?) but honestly, who knows? Fact is, Judkins has hurt his ankle in the past, and we don’t know the severity. This backfield could theoretically matter for fantasy the rest of the season. It’s a mess for sure — hopefully Sampson practices and brings some clarity to the situation. Remember, it’s always advantageous to be prepared in this game of ours.
- Start: Denzel Boston (WR27)
- Sit: Deshaun Watson (QB17), Harold Fannin (TE9)
- Sleeper: Isaiah Bond (WR71)
