Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Preview For Week 6

Matthew Stafford (QB)

From Matthew Freedman's Week 6 QB Favorites (Scoring Upgrades):

Matthew Stafford (Rams) vs. Cardinals: Let's set aside anything to do with year-to-date performance. Doesn't matter. Here's what matters: 1) The Cards are No. 31 in defensive dropback EPA (0.370). 2) They're without No. 1 CB Will Johnson (neck, IR) and might not have FS Andrew Wingard (knee). 3) They're on their third road game in four weeks. 4) The Rams are on their second straight home game. 5) HC Sean McVay has historically done well in division (35-23-1 ATS, 16.4% ROI, per Action Network).

From Dwain McFarland's Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (QB Upgrades):

Matthew Stafford | Rams: The Rams lead Freedman's model with the No. 1 team total at 32 points as 13-point favorites over the Cardinals. Arizona boosts passing by 2.4 PPG. Stafford is averaging 19 PPG and projects for almost 20 this weekend—he is my QB4.

Blake Corum (RB)

From Dwain McFarland's Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (RB Upgrades):

Blake Corum | Rams: Kyren Williams has surged ahead in the Rams backfield recently, but much of his role increase has come in highly competitive games. Los Angeles is a 13-point favorite (1st) with a 32-point team total (1st). This smells like a game where Williams and Corum could eat. Corum is a mid-range RB3.

Davante Adams (WR)

From Matthew Freedman's Week 6 WR Favorites (Scoring Upgrades):

Davante Adams (Rams) vs. Cardinals: I have a fever, and the only prescription for it is more Davante. Literally every week this season I've highlighted Adams as a favorite. Given that he was one of my 2026 fantasy favorites before the season started, I'm at least being consistent. With the return of No. 1 WR Puka Nacua in Week 4, Adams has an admittedly lower ceiling than he had without Nacua in Weeks 2-3 (23 targets vs. 16), but over the past two weeks he still had good usage (89% route rate, 27% air yard share, 57% end zone target share, 72 Utilization Score), which he has leveraged into respectable production (12.4 fantasy points per game, 9-83-2 receiving). And his setup is great: 1) The Cards are No.

Tyler Higbee (TE)

From Matthew Freedman's Week 6 TE Favorites (Matchup Upgrades):

Tyler Higbee (Rams) vs. Cardinals: TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle, IR) exited Week 3 early with an injury, and in his absence Higbee over the past three games has been very productive (12.1 fantasy points per game, 18-212-1 receiving, 23 targets) and heavily used (73% route rate, 82 Utilization Score, per our Fantasy Life Utilization Report). I expect that to continue this week against the Cards, who might not have FS Andrew Wingard (knee). Additionally, the Cards are on their third road game in four weeks, while the Rams are on their second straight home game. Finally, HC Sean McVay has historically done well in division (35-23-1 ATS, 16.4% ROI, per Action Network).

Arizona Cardinals Fantasy Preview For Week 6

Jacoby Brissett (QB)

From Dwain McFarland's Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (Sit This Quarterback):

Jacoby Brissett | Cardinals: Brissett was a must-start in Week 5 and came through with 26.3 points against the Lions. But he faces a much tougher task against the Rams this weekend, who are the fifth-hardest passing matchup (-3.3 PPG). The Cardinals have the fifth-lowest team total (19.1). Brissett DOWNGRADES back to mid-range QB2 territory—give me the under on his 244-yard passing prop.

Jeremiyah Love & Tyler Allgeier (RB)

From Dwain McFarland's Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (RB Injury Watch):

Jeremiyah Love | Cardinals → Tyler Allgeier: Love is going to miss the game with an ankle injury. With Love missing the game, Allgeier becomes an every-down RB worthy of mid-range RB2 treatment.

Michael Wilson (WR)

From Matthew Freedman's Week 6 WR Fades (Scoring Downgrades):

Michael Wilson (Cardinals) at Rams: Wilson had a modest start to the season (5.5 fantasy points per game, 7-74-0 receiving, 14 targets, 51 Utilization Score), but in the three weeks since then he has been significantly more productive (12.9 fantasy points per game, 22-214-1 receiving, 37 targets) and monstrously more utilized (91% route rate, 29% target share, 38% air yard share, 29% end zone target share, 92 Utilization Score). Plus, there's this nugget: In two games last year against the Rams, he looked like Jerry Rice (25.1 fantasy points per game, 16-241-3 receiving, 24 targets). But this year the Rams are No. 2 in defensive pass DVOA vs. No. 1 WRs (-46.3%), and LT Paris Johnson (biceps, IR) and RG Isaiah Adams (ankle, IR) are out.

From Dwain McFarland's Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (WRs That Bombed In Week 5 That I Am Starting Again):

Michael Wilson | Cardinals: Wilson played only 53% of the pass plays in the fourth quarter against the Lions because of blowout conditions. Over the first three quarters, he had a 96% route share with a 22% target share. He was in his usual role (7.7 average route depth), often saw motion at the snap (26%). But it was just an off game, leading to a disappointing 7.3 fantasy points. The Rams have been solid against WR rooms (-1.9 PPG), but Wilson should get the targets he needs to bounce back in PPR and half-PPR formats. Wilson is a mid-range WR2.

Kendrick Bourne (WR)

From Zain Dhanani's Week 6 Scheme Advantages & Disadvantages (Matchups That Are Tougher):

Kendrick Bourne vs. Rams Coverage: I'd leave Bourne on the bench in a 12-team league this week, even after the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade. Jalen Brooks has been playing the outside role, while Bourne has run 71% of his routes from the slot. Bourne's route participation actually fell to 62% last week after sitting between 75% and 80% in each of the first four games.

The Rams have allowed just 1.05 YPRR to slot receivers, eighth fewest in the NFL. They also play man coverage on 29.1% of dropbacks (5th most), where Bourne has produced 24 yards on 41 routes this season.

Honestly, he's not even someone I would roster even in deep leagues, but I have been asked the question, so I thought addressing it here was appropriate.

Trey McBride (TE)

From Matthew Freedman's Week 6 TE Fades (Matchup Downgrades):

Trey McBride (Cardinals) at Rams: McBride has been his typical awesome self this year (14.0 fantasy points per game, 42-308-3 receiving, 56 targets, 97 Utilization Score, per our Fantasy Life Utilization Report). But the matchup is brutal: The Rams are No. 1 in fewest fantasy points allowed (4.6) and smallest fantasy boost allowed to TEs (-6.7). And last year in his two games against the Rams, McBride underwhelmed (9.2 fantasy points per game, 12-123-0 receiving, 17 targets). Additionally, the Cards are on their third road game in four weeks, while the Rams are on their second straight home game.
