PrizePicks NFL Player Props For Week 6: Target Brock Purdy
John Supowitz drops three PrizePicks NFL player props for Week 6.
When you're following games this weekend, it’s exciting to set up a
PrizePicks lineup, track the league's top players and cash out big.
Here are three players who should be in your PrizePicks lineup in Week 6.
Week 6 PrizePicks for NFL Player Props
Kyren Williams More Than 69.5 Rushing Yards
With a 2-3 record, the season isn't starting the way the Rams had hoped. Los Angeles came into the season as favorites to win the Super Bowl, and now they're three games behind in the NFC West.
Much of the early struggles come down to Los Angeles’ schedule so far, and its losses have been to the 49ers, Broncos, and Bills, three playoff contenders.
Now they have a stretch where they can go on a run, with their next five games against the Cardinals twice, Raiders, Chargers and Commanders.
Kyren Williams hopes to bounce back against Arizona after rushing for just 49 yards on 3.1 yards per carry last week against the Bills.
Encouragingly, the Rams are consistently feeding Williams the ball, and over the past three weeks he has had 15 or more carries, accounting for 55% of the team’s carries.
Volume may not have to be his friend in this matchup against Arizona. The Cardinals enter this week as a bottom-tier run defense, ranking 23rd in rushing yards allowed per game (126.6).
The game script could push this to the over. Last week was the Cardinals' first game without Marvin Harrison Jr., and the offense was its worst of the season, scoring 21 points against a Lions defense that allows 29.6 points per game.
If Arizona falls back quickly, it could mean more volume for Williams.
Jordan Love More Than 269.5 Passing Yards
The Packers are on a back-to-back win streak for the first time this season, but underlying issues may still persist. Their last two wins came against the Bears and Buccaneers, each of whom played backup quarterbacks.
This week they host the Cowboys, and Dak Prescott is certainly not a backup quarterback. This week could pose a challenge for the Packers; the Cowboys rank seventh in the NFL in points per game (27.6), so we could see a lot of points on the board.
Green Bay ranks only 24th in points per game (20.8), but Dallas is the worst-ranked scoring defense Green Bay has faced so far, at 27th (27.2). The Cowboys have been especially vulnerable to the pass, ranking 27th in yards per completion (11.2) and 30th in completion percentage (72.4%).
That works out perfectly for Jordan Love, who essentially controls the entire offense with his arm. Without Josh Jacobs, the Packers have virtually no run game; they are last in rushing yards per game (60.4) and, as a result, have the highest passing-play percentage in the NFL (66.3%).
This could be one of the week’s higher-scoring games, with both quarterbacks trading touchdowns.
Brock Purdy More Than 269.5 Passing Yards
With so many injuries during the 49ers' training camp, few expected them to be competitive early in the season, let alone to go 5-0. They are quickly proving to be one of the league’s top teams.
They are one of the more balanced teams in the NFL, ranking third in both scoring offense (30.8) and defense (18.6).
As a result, Brock Purdy has been playing at an elite level, and MVP chatter is mounting. He’s only 11th in passing yards (1,198), but the underlying metrics reveal his true value: he leads the league in passer rating (119.3) and total EPA (+63.4).
The passing yards haven’t been there because he hasn’t had the friendliest matchups, but that changes this week against the Commanders, who rank 29th in passing yards per game (255.0) and pass attempts per game (38.0).
The absence of Deebo Samuel is not ideal, but Mike Evans just had his first 100+-yard receiving performance of his 49ers career last week, George Kittle has at least 70 receiving yards and a touchdown in three of his last four games, and Christian McCaffrey is one of the best pass-catching running backs in the league, so San Francisco has plenty of options for Purdy.
